SANQUHAR PATTERN AND NEW LANARK MILL

• Travel to a small market town of Sanguhar surrounded by breath-taking scenery and discover the Sanquhar Pattern.
• After lunch. visit New Lanark. a unique 18th century mill at an UNESCO heritage Site.
• Return to your hotel in Edinburgh where evening is at your leisure to relax and knit.

DAY 3, 15 APRIL 2026 -
WEAVING WORKSHOP AND STIRLING CASTLE

- Enjoy Weaving and Loom workshop with Radical Weavers.
- After lunch, visit a favoured residence of the Stewart kings and queens, Stirling Castle, located on a craggy volcanic rock.
• Arrive to your hotel located in the heart of Scotland, beautiful town or Pitlochry, and enjoy dinner.

DAY 4, 16 APRIL 2026 -
V&A DESIGN GALLERY AND LUNAN BAY FARM

Farmer Jillian and her team are pioneering Scottish regenerative cashmere production From goat to coat. After Interacting with the adorable cashmere goats, join fibre spinning demonstration. Do not forget to visit cashmere gift shop!
• Visit V&A Design Gallery - Scotland's first dedicated design museum. This design gallery, situated at Dundee waterfront, features exhibits from various collections across Scotland as well as pieces brought north from the V&A in London. Dinner will be served at vour hotel

DAY 5, 17 APRIL 2026 -
CULLODEN BATTLEFIELD, INVERNESS AND LOCH NESS CRUISE

Visit the iconic, emotive and atmospheric Culloden Battlefield, filming location for Outlander.
Stop in Inverness, the largest city and the cultural capital of the Scottish Highlands. Its Old Town features 19th century Inverness Cathedral, the mostly 18th-century Old High Church and an indoor Victorian Market selling food, clothing and crafts. You may wish to visit Rebel Row - Prickly Thistle Flagship Store or Highlands House of Fraser for the kilt making demonstration.
• After lunch (not included), join a cruise of breath-taking mysterious Loch Ness. Find out the mysteries of Nessie and maybe, just maybe, you will spot her yourself!
• Finally continue to your exclusive hire hotel in the village of Fort Augustus to have some rest before dinner.

DAY 6, 18 APRIL 2026 -
DAY TRIP TO THE ISLE OF SKYE

Enjoy a full day trip to the Isle of Skye.
• Visit Skyeskyns, Scotland's only sheepskin tannery, and learn about the historic craft of leather-making in the traditional working exhibition tannery. Browse the wide selection of sheepskins, bespoke throws and mosaics as well as extensive range of contemporary knitwear, scarves, hats, gloves and more.
• lake a tour of the Island at the edge croft followed by homemade refreshments and a fleece preparation demonstration.
- The final stop before return to your hotel is Dunvegan Castle, the oldest continuously inhabited castle in scotland and ancestral home of the Chiers of clan Macleod for suo years.
- Return to your hotel in time for dinner.

• After breaktast. check out of the hotel and journey back to -dinburgh.
• Check out of the hotel and journey back to Edinburgh. On the way, visit Dalwhinnie Distillery, the highest distillery in Scotland at 1164 feet above sea level, set in splendid mountain scenery at the heart of the Calrngorm National Park.
• Continue to the Scone Palace, the crowning place of Scottish Kings, set in 100 acres of woodland gardens, before arriving to your hotel in Edinburgh in time for dinner.

• Visit Kathy's Knits, a small independent Yarn and Knitting store where we meet with Lucy Mague. Lucy is a well-known pattern designer and author of Celtic Cable Shawls and Illuminated Knits. Take some time to browse through an array of yarns, patterns and accessories in stock at Kathy's Knits.
• Visit Dovecot Studio to view the weaver s at work
• Remainder of the afternoon is free to explore Edinburgh before returning to the hotel for a Farewell Dinner with your fellow travellers.

DAY 10, 10 OCTOBER 2025 -
FAREWELL SCOTLAND!
After breakfast, transter to Edinburgh airport in plenty of time to check in and some last minute duty-tree shopping.

It is important to note that a certain amount of walking is encouraged on our tours. All tour members must be able to mount steps into the coach and walk unaided at a reasonable pace from coach to hotel and coach to visitor attractions/events on possibly uneven ground. Passengers must be able to handle their own luggage.
Coach driver's and guides that are employed by The Irish Tourism Group cannot provide individualized help for walking, getting on and off motor coaches, ferries or other personal needs.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Baggage
When porterage of baggage is included in a programme, it is based upon a maximum of 1 piece of standard airline baggage per person. Passengers bringing baggage in excess of this amount may incur a surcharge. For the sake of passenger comfort, it is recommended that passengers limit baggage to 1 suitcase per person plus 1 carry on.
Items Not Included
Our tours do not include items of a personal nature such as laundry, room service, telephone charges or other hotel extras. All passengers are responsible for settling any such costs incurred before checking out of each hotel.
Gratuities
Gratuities are not included to the coach driver and tour guide, as well as, hotels, attractions or any catering venues. These are at the participant's discretion.

It is the responsibility of each individual client to ensure that they do not behave in such a way as to cause offence or danger to themselves or others, or which risks damage to property. Each client shall be responsible for any injury or damage caused by their failure to behave in a safe and proper manner.
